Traditionally, the month of May is dedicated to Mary, which corresponds to the time when spring is at its peak. Spring is also linked to the renewal of nature. In her own way, Mary gave new life to the world by giving birth to our Saviour Jesus Christ, and so we honour her, ask her to pray for us and learn from her example.
Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
