SundOn Sunday, 27th. May, members of the Catholic parish walked the old Catholic pilgrim road in Gásadalur. The weather was good, sunshine and some wind.

In the old days, the Faroese people went to the chapel in Gásadalur to pray for the intercession of St. Thorlak, a bishop in Iceland during the 13th. century. He was very much loved by the common people in Iceland while he was alive – and also after he died.
