THE WAY OF THE CROSS

The Way of the Cross is a meditation on the Passion of Jesus. As an aid, we have fourteen pictures (stations) in the church which depict different scenes from the Passion of Jesus from his appearance before Pilate to his death on Golgotha. This meditative prayer may be said by walking from one station to the next as if following Jesus in his suffering.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

Lastly he showed himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table.

He reproached them for their incredulity and obstinacy, because they had refused to believe

those who had seen him after he was risen.

And he said to them, “Go out to the whole world;

proclaim the Good News to all creation!”

(Mark 16: 14-16)
